Loved this video and song! What a great sound. The visualization was spot on of how the sound reflected your music. I would consider featuring you on my website music is art. Will be happy to share your track with others. I’m excited to hear more from you!
Such a great track! Loved the guitar in the beginning, and throughout listening the song grew to become catchy throughout the end. Had a great build up and as the chorus progressed the lyrics remained in your mind. Look forward to hearing more from your work!
Great cover artwork. The sound is reminiscent of sweet sounds from mixtures of youngster bands and complimentary female vocals that echo through smart electronics and rememarable percussion that keeps the flow of the song striving and moving along.
Great pop beat with a truly soulful voice. Bringing back elements of 80s dance, 90s R&B, and complimentary moments that bring in a modern edge. The funk guitar adds great dimensions to the bridge. Overall awesome tune that will appeal to ages from young and old.
Orouni create storylike music reminiscent of greats like Belle & Sebastian. The distinct feeling I received from the music was a sense of great warmth. Surrounded in happy guitars, the brass horn adds a dimension of vintage flare that brightens the song with true surprise and joy.
The Blemish provide r&b smooth vocals with elements of electronic pop that gives a familiar feel to the overall sound. Within the singer's phrasing, are breaths and tones that bring back glimpses with memories of the late Michael Jackson. Still providing their own beat, the overall production remains fresh and catchy.
Your music has a tranquil quality with it's acoustic feel and light percussion that adds enough beauty to give a listener emotion from the song. Complimentary with the vocals that emit a range of raspiness and rock n roll. Nice work!
What a cool vibe that you presented in your video! I am mixing John Ryan's with a little bit of hip Nautic rock 'n' roll, it was easy to enjoy the music that you performed. Love the grittiness of the guitars mixed with the somehow harmonic and soulful vocals at the same time. My favorite part was the bridge and hearing everything break down and then build back up. Well done!
A good song keeps you from the beginning to the end. With the initial explosion of the drums into guitars and hard driven vocals full of soul, the intensity never stops. It's rich with the different ways bridges lead to new places, bringing the true grit of the song to the way good ole rock n' roll used to sound. Truly, I enjoyed this so much. I listened to it immediately again and again.
I enjoy this so much that I did something that I don't normally do here, I had to listen again. Carol Kings sample of "you're so far away" sounds great along with your own style of hip-hop beats and lyrics disbursed in between. I honestly didn't want the track to end, it makes me curious to hear what other songs you will create. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for sending this.. love the vibe and style of the music. I think the overall song shows many strong points with great r&b vocals and an overall quality of clean production and smoothness. I can hear it catching onto Pop Radio, as the sound is complimentary to current mainstream rotations but with it's own uniqueness that stands out on it's own.
I really enjoyed the sound of your music and the way the background blended in nicely with the melody of the lyrics and vocals. I would enjoy to hear more like this from you as I'm sure your sound would be very appealing to those who like enjoy dream pop mixed with electronic currents. Definitley loved the chorous the best and the way the harmonies blended.
Great sound and what a great beat to your song! Made me want to dance around my room and smile. I think you have an infectious quality to your creating process and I'd be excited to hear more of this type of sound from you! Keep up the good job!
I truly enjoyed your music. The sound of your voice along with the melody and vibrations of the instrumentals all segued beautifully. You have a great modern approach to your music and I'm sure will be well received by those who enjoy this type of sound. I honestly wouldn't change a thing. Great job!
First off, let me say the meaning of your song is something that everyone can relate to. I personally think there's too many songs about longing, when just following your heart seems to be the way to go. Enjoyed the mixture of the female vocals along with the collaboration rapping. I can hear this becoming popular with a pop audience because the lyrics are truly representative of the mainstream and how most can feel. Nice work!
Such a cool sound. The beginning reminds me of a mixture of ambient sounds, and sharp electric textures that keep your mind relaxed and engaged. I like how the mood then changes to a dark and angry theme that allows for different tempos to sneak in and add detail. Great job!
Very cool voice, seductive and sensual. Took me back to the days of trip hop and downtempo sounds from the 90s. Like Marina Topley Bird from the Tricky days. My favorite part is the heavy drop at the end that ties in your entire mood of the song. Definitely excited to hear more from you!
The scenery here is very beautiful. Where is this? The colors are bright along with relaxing sounds of smooth and soft vocals against a tropical island backdrop of reggae tones and brass instruments. The only advice is to add perhaps a few more instrumental breaks and buildups that will surprise any reggae fan. All in all though, your sound is lovely and vibe is great! Keep doing what you're doing :)
What a great remix Calibrate created. The feeling of Sam Smith's lyrics playfully control the beat of the track and it all sounds powerful with the addition of extra echoes, and handclaps inside the background effects. I'm excited to hear more of your work!
This remix explodes with an intense build-up that provides a well developed flow that takes you away from the original. By experimenting with different moments, the time signatures provide a chilled out sound after taking you on an eccentric journey.
SALWA AZAR.. I can definitely hear a lot of magic in your sounds. Perhaps it's the folk ukulele, or the way your voice so elegantly sings such vulnerable lyrics. I definitely love your sound, and can understand why you were featured on the BBC. Keep up the good work!
This has such a great and chill vibe to it. Some people don't completely understand tropical house... but this maintains the perfect definition to it. Those tropical essential sounds make you feel happy, and like you are on a foreign, and relaxing vacation.
I think your vocals have great potential but feel the overall style of your music does not highlight your capabilities strongly. I'd like to compare you to the sounds of Staind or Deftones... but hate comparisons as I think you are trying to also create your own thing. Perhaps a bit more melody and fluidity to the structure of your sounds would help the songs expand a bit more and eventually lead it to have more of a story. All in all, loved the scenes from the ocean in your video and the colors, great job!
Love the background of the chilled out groove of delicate piano keys and deep bass sounds. Tasita D'Mour has an elegant voice and keeps the beauty of her music relaxing. Would really love to hear more than a teaser as this style of music is perfect for a lounge setting. Could even see her doing it live. However it feels like she may be holding back a bit vocally, and I would really like to hear her go one more degree higher. Overall great sound!
Love the sample in the background. Not only does your track combine hip hop, catchy lyrics, and an old school feel in the overall tone, you have created an addictive story told throughout your vocals and music. Great work!
Wow. Beautiful cinematography in the video. Also enjoyed how the video split into two parts and provided a story. I like the sound and backdrop of the song, it provides a chill overall vibe. I also enjoyed the vocals of the rapping but felt the first part of the song needs some instrumental breaks in-between verses so it allows the track some room to breathe. Overall, cool job!
I like the style of your video, with all of your friends hanging out and enjoying a walk around town and having a party. I think the verses of your songs could use more of a melody to the lyrics, but when it comes to the chorus, you seem to have it down for tying it all together. Love the harmonies of background vocals coming in as it adds another meaning to your music. Perhaps just a few touch ups of buildups could change it around a bit, but you have a very cool vibe to your overall sound.
Very cool vibe.. with a mix of instrumental hip hop, sultry female vocals, soft piano keys slow dancing in the background, and an overall relaxed downtempo element that ties it gently all together. The only thing I would suggest is a bit more of a break in-between verses and chorus. Other than that, well done.
Super cool track! Enjoyed the combination of electronic tones and reggae style vocals mixed. Everything transitioned nicely. Over 8 minute epics can be a somewhat daunting amount of time to listen, but because the groove progressed into different highs and lows, it easily kept my attention, and was over before I even knew it. Overall job well done!
Great video, style, fun energy, and feel good music. Makes you want to dance. A friend of mine in Germany told me he saw The D0 perform at a festival in Europe a few years ago, and absolutely loved your live performance out of 20 other artists he saw that day. Would be happy to share a post about you on my site, www.musicisart.fm. Please feel free to be in touch. firstname.lastname@example.org
Beautiful video. Perfect feeling created to correspond to the title *Nostalgia*. Not only did I find the cinematography inspiring, but the overall emotion I received from the video felt like a dream. The music accompanied to the video very well, causing a dramatic finish to a well thought out production.
Beautifully atmospheric music, full of different waves of patterns that transcend the song into it's own artistic realm. The collection of videos merged together to compliment the sound connects to the beat and provides an engaging connection to the overall blending of lush details and downtempo grooves.
I really enjoy your sound. Beautiful vocals with sultry and dark synth instrumentals. Reminds me a bit of the gothic sounds of Evanescence. My only suggestion is to add a bridge that would allow the music to break and switch up the feeling of the song.
Beautifully shot video, great themes and location shots. Although it is a hip hop styled song, would love for a powerful break or chorus in-between verses that would allow the listener to take in the lyrics that are being said. Overall, nice job!
