Simply put, I help startups figure out what to do with what they built, then I help them go do that.
I'm good at seeing where a company fits in the marketplace (and where they don't), what opportunities they should pursue, what strategic partnerships they should be developing, and I help them find clients. I get them on track and help them make the deals they need to be successful.
I do not do marketing or PR.
I've been consulting since 2008, mostly in digital music. Previously, I ran the US operations for the Mobile Entertainment Forum and was the in-house digital music expert for the RIAA. I started in artist management and that influences everything I do to this day. I am on the Advisory Board for the SXSW Accelerator and SXSW V2Venture pitch competitions.
