Hello, and thank you for submitting your track to Big Fuss Records. Hannah has a lovely voice. The simple musical accompaniment is complimentary, yet there were moments more instrumentation would have been nice. Would be good to read the lyrics although they were mostly decipherable. Better though not to guess. Are there other songs, and a full album project? We would be interested in listening to a few more tracks from the artist to see what else is coming or recently released. Feel free to send more music and stay in touch to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This track has a haunting feel. Its blend of voice and guitar are easy to listen to. "You Don't Know Me" has a good groove going here. We feel it would be a good fit for the right film or tv placement. Reminicent of Cowboy Junkies style. Keep up the good work.
An interesting arrangement. We like it and the guitars and drums sound tight. Felt like it could use a hook to keep the song in mind after hearing. Keep up the good work. We respect your work and the productions you have so far. At this time, we will keep this track and you as an artist in mind.
Thank you for your submission. This song required a few listens, due to its emotive nature. We like it and feel it will work well in TV and Film. And depending on the album with additional tracks, would be a interesting listen for music fans and officianados. You have done a great job here with production as well as we find the track just right. Not over produced or "crowded" but spacially intriquing.
This track is produced well with good sound quality, mix and master. Vocals are clear and defined. Words are interesting. We would be interested in listening to more music from this artist. Feel free to send to email@example.com . This song may fit in a TV licensing sync opportunity, but they are very competitive. Therefore we make no promises, only strive to promote and distribute further.
Reminiscent of a Mazzy Star style, except a bit more melodic and pop, with a positive feel. Wrong Hands is part melancholy, part good feeling with excellent instrumentation and arrangement. I would have enjoyed seeing the lyrics, or understanding them better. Do you have a full album project? I would however be interested in listening to more music from your group. I see you have included a link. Thank you. It may take a few weeks to peruse more music, so please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org at that time for further detail.
Sounds good. We enjoyed listening. Would like to learn more about you as an artist and invite you to perhaps have your single promoted via Artist To Watch- Also our Hot-Trax Radio Show. The best thing to do is get in touch via email to email@example.com
All in all a very nice song, with vocals and production. We would be interested in listening to more tracks on the collection to see if they are strong. Would you send a link to stream a few more songs? You can send to firstname.lastname@example.org
Aegean Lanes, is a very pleasant listen. We enjoyed the track. The production and arrangement with the acoustic guitars and percussion are excellent. We like the vocals as well, although in places, they seem they could be somewhat stronger, although the voice does provide some character. We also like that the song is short. invites the listener to play again. At this time, we can offer you an opportunity and invite you to be part of Big Fuss Records digital only "Artist to Watch 2017". The purpose of the compilation is to promote and assist independent artists with much needed exposure through distribution channels and radio airplay under the Big Fuss Records brand and label. We are completely artist friendly. This does not constitute a record deal although it may possibly lead to one if the label is convinced of an artist’s commitment, material and marketability. Thank you for sending. Keep up the good work and feel free to follow up via email@example.com
Very nice track and sound. Nothing to say that would be less than great- You have a sound we really enjoy- And "So Much Sky" lends itself to imagination. Are you working on a complete set to release? Big Fuss would be interested in previewing a complete project yet to be released. Thank you for sending. Keep up the great work-
We enjoyed your track "Forgotten Lights" and feel you have a pleasing and adventurous sound. Do you have a project complete that you are marketing yet? We would be interested in featuring Birds Over Arkansas in our Artists To Watch 2016 program and also would consider a full album project if we were to listen to the entire project and feel strongly about getting behind it. You can learn more about us at www.bigfussrecords.com - Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if this is of interest to you. Thank you for your submission.
First of all- the tonal qualities of your voice are very attractive and sweet to listen to. I like and would be interested in listening to more work from you. When you came to the second break- where you were singing-(not rapping) your voice was a little weaker- still artistic-It's like I could hear sadness in your voice. Keep going and write GREAT lyrics with purpose and meaning. Keep developing your strengths. You have something very sweet and likable here.
Thank you for sending your track for review. We found the track compelling and interesting. We also thought it was original and timely. We enjoyed listening and felt the only thing that may be a deterrent to some, was the repeated use of the words fuck you- this may be offensive to others and we believe you can make your point using other words without offending sensitive ears.
Your song is very beautiful. Sentimental and feeling. Your voice is gorgeous like butter. From listening to this track you have a really wonderful vibe, and I believe if you have additional STRONG songs, you can fare well in music business. Feel free to get in touch with me (Kristin) email at email@example.com - when you have a set/project ready to go. We would then listen again. Thank you for sharing and if you have any questions, please ask. Best wishes for your continued success.
This is an interesting track. Very decorative in production with unique nuances in places that make it interesting along with the lyric. I am not sure how long it is, but I did have the feeling that keeping it short, would make listeners want to play it again. Something just under 3 minutes. Even so, it is fine where it is.... just a suggestion. Very artsy and artistic, and a good album track. One last thought would be to perhaps fatten it up underneath with an interesting pad or two. That would flow and support the vocal and interesting production nuances. Again, just an idea.
This is a very entertaining video to watch and the song is very good as well. Some of the lyrics were a bit difficult to understand, and required repeat listening. I enjoyed the use of hashtags, which helped me to understand more of what you were attempting to say in the song and video. There was much drinking and smoking, which to me is not super impressive- but reality and I believe the song was saying there was a seeking for more. Anyway, it was entertaining and the song had a sixties/seventies feel. I would want to hear more from this artist.
This video is really well done and with the footage, the song really comes alive. I am not sure I would have liked the song as much without the video- The vocals are really unique and take some getting used to. Another reason why this song really works as a video. Good job!
This is a very artistic track. It has great lyrics. The production is interesting, and the vocals as well. We feel the song would benefit from a much fuller production that is cleaned up, so to speak. But really, all around, this is an emotive indie track that is interesting enough, for people to want to hear again..
This track has some really great elements. The guitars are beautiful and the vocals are interesting and clear. Nice vocal tone. The song may be made stronger by making it more concise. It gets a bit repetitive and the changes at the chorus could stand to be more defining so the listener, recognizes the changes as being different. Also this would sound great with a full drum kit and some keyboards. Nice work, keep going. You've got some great elements here.
I almost clicked on Love It- but chose Like it because Catapult has an abundance of great qualities but would be perhaps in my opinion, an album track, and less of a "single". But as a whole your sound is excellent and I'd really like to hear more of your work. At Big Fuss Records, we realize the importance of GREAT songwriting. You have a very appealing sound. What must be- are strong songs- The production is good too. You have done a really good job on this indie selection. We would be interested in listening to any recent album release. Please feel free to send it to firstname.lastname@example.org - Thanks and keep us in the loop.
