Again, not in my area of expertise, but this track is very good, I enjoyed it. If I heard this on the radio I would think that it was a current trending artist. Not much more I can say on this one, the sound is very complete and has a fairly unique sound design.

This type of music is not in my field of expertise, but as a listener it is a competent rework, the electronic aspect to the sound brings an interesting variation to a very familiar classic.

This track, whilst not in my genre of experience, is a good effort; but I feel falls short of being great. The reason I think this is as follows:

The low end of the track is great, the moody bass sets the tone well. However there needs to be more melodic influences in the upper range to give the track a stronger audio identity. I do not mean a lot of added melody, less is more here, and sparing use of another element or two in the mid to upper ranges would add the badly needed added dimension to raise the quality of the track.

I would actually class this track as chillout, and it does a very good job raising the emotions with its relaxed but peaky vibe, A quality release and one that will get some attention.

If you produce any house music in the future do get in touch as I am sure I will be able to feature you on my radio show.

Hi, this track is not something that is in my field of expertise as I am involved in dance music. But seeing as I know nothing about this music style I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the track and if someone mentioned this track was on the radio I would totally believe it.

Make of that what you will...sorry I cannot be more help.

This is a competent tropical house track, I do like it but it doesn't do enough for me to be stand out. I would be happy to play this track in the spotlight section of my radio show, get in Touch if you would like to do this.

Thanks

Well, I wasn't sure quite what to expect when playing this, as most of my submissions are dance music related. Personally, I love this piece of music. Full of drama and menace, the soundscape is engaging and emotional. This would fit very well into a film score or TV drama.

My field of work as I mentioned is dance music, so I cannot promote this for you as it simply does not fit into any of my promotional channels, but I will be following your work! Sorry I can't do more for you.

Tit For Tat by Darius Da Terrible

Nicholas Peltekakis

Hey Darius, thanks for sending me this submission. I REALLY like the idea to this, it has so much promise. The issue is the mastering of your vocals, they are too loud for the rest of the track, and also too flat. The vocals need "setting in" to the rest of the track and some reduction in volume and work on the depth using warmth and maybe slight echo.

This is a really different vibe, I have been in dance music for 25 years, and most of it now is all the same. Can you clean this track up and have it mastered by someone who knows how to seat the vocals?

If this gets sorted out I can promote you on my radio show out here in Greece, and also on our Soundcloud channel which deals with bass music, which is: trench bass music repost. Follow us on there, and get in touch if you tighten up this track. I like what you have done so far and with good mastering I would like to support you!

Cheers

Whilst not in my area to be able to help promote, this track has great potential in TV and film, I could imagine being used in a chase scene or something like that.

Well, what a great track this is! Whilst not in my genre of expertise which is dance music, this nevertheless was an enjoyable 70's druggy, blissed out track to get lost in for a few minutes and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I wish there was something I could do for you on the promotion side, good luck!

Listening to a Techno track that is over 8 minutes long is something of a rarity these days, so I was intruiged to see how this track panned out. The industrial, heads down, minimal vibe works very well, and the filtered vocal cuts give the journey a haunting feel; and this track definitely requires more than one listen to appreciate. The percussion intro at 2:00 and build at 3:30 really move the track along, with plenty of energy.

Overall a very good piece of work, probably a little too dark for my radio show, but this will go down really well at 4am in a dimly lit night club. Review copied to SC, if you have any further questions/comments please ask.

This is a good track, it has a decent lounge vibe to it. I wouldn't say it stands out that much, but I feel that is a good thing in a way as it lends itself to be played to create a mood for the listener, and not be in your face or intruding.

I run an FM dance music radio show out here in Greece, but this doesn't really fit with the musical flow of the show, so I cant help you there.

Thanks for the submission!

A very accomplished vocal electro house track, all the components work seamlessly together to create a dance friendly vibe, I can see this gaining a good amount of support on radio stations and clubs. Whilst not breaking any new ground, this track succeeds effortlessly in a very crowded music area and does enough to stand out.

Hi guys, first off, this is a VERY accomplished tropical house track, I have listened to countless TH tracks on Soundcloud and this is way above average. The audio identity is very strong in the track, which of course is vital to gain a following, and all the elements marry well with the vocals to create an emotive, expansive journey which easily carries the listener across the three and a half minutes or so of its course.

I would be more than happy to feature this in "The Spotlight", a section in my dance music radio show for up and coming artists from around the world. If you would like to be featured in next fridays show please let me know, either here in Fluence or on Soundcloud, My page on SC is: www.soundcloud.com/dj-merlin. Please send me a brief bio for this purpose.

I hope this is helpful, I will also talk to my station manager about getting it into the daytime playlist, and will let you know if this can happen.

Thank you for the submission!

SHE by THE LANDED

Nicholas Peltekakis

Whilst indie style music is not my area of expertise, perhaps it would be valuable to hear from my perspective as a listener. She is an accomplished track, having an audio identity is the same across all genres, and this track has a good amount of it to easily carry the listener across the 3 minutes of music. The melodies and vocals are well matched to each other, and the overall soundscape is one you could envisage being played on daytime radio all over the world.

I do feel however that this sound is very familiar, and there are many similar sounds out there, whilst not listening to much music of this style, the familiarity of this track tells me that there is huge competition in this area.

I will get this over to my station manager at my radio station to see if he can include it in the daytime playlist, please contact me through soundcloud www.soundcloud.com/dj-merlin with a downloadable 320kbps MP3 of the track, and I will get back to you.

Seeing What's Next (Preview) by Hollywood Principle

Nicholas Peltekakis

Hi, thanks for the submission. This is an accomplished track, almost chillstep, but with a more accessible, commercial edge to it as well, this track seems to straddle both the non commercial and commercial avenues possibilities with ease; thanks to the haunting melodic vocals and solid beats. The audio identity is strong on Seeing Whats Next, and all the elements work very well to make this so.

This track will do well, and it will appeal to both dj's, as well as listeners, and I feel will gain a non commercial and commercial following.

I would be happy to play this on my radio show tranZitions, out here in Greece, we have a spotlight section for up and coming artists from around the world, and this would fit well in there. The next show is Friday May 15th, which is perfect timing for your release.

Let me know if you would like me to have you on the show in the Spotlight section, ill need a brief bio for the intro, and I will play your track, in full. If you have another track you would like me to play, please send me a few links, as I like to play two tracks for artists in this section.

Whilst not my musical area of expertise I have to say I really enjoyed this track. The chilled vibe, vocals and melody easily carried me across the 5 minutes or so of music, all the elements blend seamlessly to create an accomplished piece of work, I can imagine hearing this in beach bars and cafes or on daytime radio.

Thanks for the submission, copy of feedback left on SC.

A very slick, professional video, that gets the message of what this site does over concisely and clearly. I feel that it would be beneficial for everyone if you had a counter on the site somewhere with the number of curators, artists, dj's, and others listed; so that prospective members can see how many people are on the site.

I joined yesterday, and have no idea how busy this site actually is. I love reviewing music, but have no idea of my potential client size, or how many other dance music curators there are.
