I really like the arrangement especially when the fiddle came in in the second half. That was a highlight for me. The lyrics and the mood of the song was nice too. I especially enjoyed the bit sung with the "doomsday" voice. And I almost wish that the entire song had been sung that way. Darker with more doom, perhaps some reverb. Since the voice otherwise sounds "warm". But overall a really nice song. Good luck!!
I like the drive in the song, cool bass, guitar and general attack. A cool song to rock out to, pump up the volume in the summer. The singer reminds me of the dude in Frans Ferdinand, which is both a good and a bad thing. Not my own favourite cup of tea.. but they did really well AND most important of all.. I still think his voice fits the song. Well done on a cool song!
Really lovely. Well produced. But I'd be interested in hearing a scaled down version, with only a piano and her. Acoustic. That would make it even more powerful. In a sense. Great video too. Well done! I'm gonna have a look at some of her stuff and post it on thisismyjam later.
I really like the beat and the vocals/rap. The duster mood and the feel. English is not my native tongue.. So with the lyrics I'm hearing "park that shit"... I'm not sure who and why somebody is parking anything anywhere. Meaning I would probably have to listen to it again to get it. Or maybe, it's just about sex and parking someone's "shit" in someone else's "shit". I don't know... I'm missing a clear lyric. But I like the feel, the beat, the voice and the production.
