Americana, Country-Blues combination Suzanne's Band is the official vehicle driven by Texas based singer/songwriter Mia Suzanne Walker. Suzanne’s career highlights include her recent acceptance into the Recording Academy (Grammy’s) and her rapid development as an established You Tube artist. Suzanne’s live shows are a blend of music covering the last seven decades, and are usually a mix of classic rock, pop and country. Booking is available as a solo, duo, trio or full band act. Suzanne’s original songs are also woven into the set list. The non-genre specific approach to Suzanne’s songwriting creates an entirely different basis to build on along with introspective ideals and the importance of self-worth laced into the lyrics. Great recording and video quality. Great production values. Nice opening line! It might make sense to give a bit of space between the end of the verse and the beginning of the chorus. Feels a little tight in there. You do a great job using imagery in your verses which goes a long way towards telling your story. This is the kind of song you can pitch for film/TV placement. You might consider using a service like Taxi.com to pitch to music supervisors. Bravo Suzanne!

This takes me back to that Jimmy Buffett "Margaritaville" type of vibe and does a really great job at capturing the tropical atmosphere and refreshing energy that comes along with disconnecting in such a place. The instrumentation is just right, in my opinion, and the mix is very clean allowing every element to stand on it's on while still creating a cohesive, catchy song. The only (minor) critique I have is I wish the vocals weren't so dry; just a hint of reverb or a slight delay could be just enough to make this song "pop" a little more (for me).

Enjoyed the arrangement on this. But I would either autotune the vocals or really work on vocal pitch and singing style, the vocals are a bit off pitch for me, so its tough to listen -- much work to be done here. Video well done, I get the flavor of island relaxation while I listen, beautiful! Hope that's helpful, thanks for your submission, good luck with your music!
