Thanks again for submitting Lindsey. Once again the mix on the record sounds solid. Great dynamics overall and everything sounds, clean, clear and wide. The vox also are also in a good place within the mix. I really like the track itself. Some great dirty synths and guitar lines and the drums hit hard when the chorus drops. Once again you deliver a really strong vocal performance with good emotion and conviction behind the lyrics. The chorus vocally is memorable and melodically pleasing to the ear. I think you have another really good track for synch and TV/Film. Thanks once again for submitting.
Hi Lindsey...thanks for the submission and nice song here. I like the concept of the song and all sounds in the pocket of what a pop song is supposed to do. One thing I think that is worth looking at is more on a production and direction and vocal direction that can solely identify you. To put it in perspective there are 100,000 (not an exaggeration) releases per week. So beyond, a solid song, there needs to be that extra difference on what makes you different than everyone else. I think the answer to that is the production is a little more harder sounding maybe - but can you got 2x, 3x harder or more different than that. Like drop yourself into a club or a radio station in 2021 ... what does it sound like...and then make that record. I think with that type of record then you really become the leader and so important to sticking out more. There's a great book by Seth Godin that is required reading for all my writers called "Purple Cow" by Seth Godin...I think it would be a great one for you to dig into. But overall..yah super solid but I think you can go a little more on the fringes and finding people who Seth will call the "sneezers" and find your small tribe that gets you and connects with a niche sound / message and then rabidly spreads the word. hope that helps.
Lindsey my FB friend thanks for reaching out and submitting! Starting out the mix on the record sounds really good. Nice and big sound with all of the elements/instruments sitting in just the right place. Nice dynamics throughout the record and the vox sounded great. Even though this sound isn't my thing, overall the execution is great. The track itself has a nice mix of different genres. I heard some 80's rock vibes in there, pop/EDM and some urban sprinkled in also. I always like tracks that mix genres and do it in the right way. Your vocal performance was really sassy, strong and believable. The chorus really hit me "Just let me chill". This kind of record/vibe is hard to pull off and it can come off corny if not done correctly, but you delivered it in just the right way. I feel like this record would work perfectly for TV/Film synchs. Party flicks, TV shows or even commercials. I wish I had something for it right now because I would definitely submit it. Thanks again for sending this over.
Great hook-y pop song!! Send a high quality mp3 to email@example.com and I'll include on playlists and shows, with 'Fluence Request - Artist Name - Track Title' in the subject line of email. Do you have nonexplicit version? Would need that. The video is awesomely creative, so well done. The racy sexy themes in it may narrow the general audience for it, but at same time will bring attention to it. The track and video way better than the exposure and follows/listens for it yet. Don't see the video on your Ig feed? Finding ways to get the word out will be your biggest challenge, your Ig following alone should be all over this, you'll need to find ways to repeatedly get them to support you. Love your bio on Spotify: 'I'm going to do me and you're going to pay attention'. You go girl! Thanks for submitting, good luck!
