Synonymous for twisting creative standards, and fixated by melodic rhythms that breaks boundaries from Electropop to future bass, Om’s dance music obsession conveniently turned itself into a talent worth unleashing. Growing up in LA and many parts of Asia (Taipei, and Tokyo), Om spent his youth rummaging through underground parties/raves while surrounding himself with electronic music pioneers from Sasha, Digweed, Chemical Brothers to Apex Twins - giving him the firmest education not many young DJ/producer may have today. At the same time, he is well versed in traditional vinyl turntables and is fluent in all formats of modern day DJ performances.

Within the wall of the studio, Om hails at the influence of his roots with Porter Robinson, Glitch Mob, and Illenium, as he meticulously fuses genres to bring forth an immersive audio experience that is hauntingly nostalgic and beautiful. It won’t be long before one finds themselves unshackled from reality, diving deep into a multitude of cinematic worlds.

“If music doesn’t evoke a certain emotion, capture a certain moment or take you to another dimension/ world, then I don’t know why we need music in our lives.”

Signed to A2LiVE/A2ARTIST and a resident DJ for STORM and Now Or Never EDM Festivals, Om has embraced the stage with some of electronic music’s elite from Dash Berlin, Don Diablo, DVBBS, Emma Hewett, Eva Shaw, Headhunters, Krewella, Laidback Luke, Sam Feldt, to Zedd, Om has taken an avid shine to the scene and embarks on an even heavier schedule into 2018.

Despite the abounding schedule of gigs across China and Asia, Om’s calendar finds a perfect balance between the DJ booth and the studio. Keeping a firm ear on an ever-evolving scene but remaining true to the passion of his game, Om continues to relish the melodic bass and house core while the imminent release of this season’s studio output is looming.

Really enjoyed this. Had an Odesza-like vibe and great layering of sound. Beautifully produced and I especially loved the female vocal. We find that tracks with female vocals are much more radio friendly and this one nails it. Great work overall from the buildups and breakdowns, the vocals, the sound samples and more. Beautifully done and balanced. We reposted on our SoundCloud!

This is a really great, club-ready track! I can absolutely see crowds loving this song whether at an indoor party or a big outdoor music festival. I loved all the back story you provided because it gave me a great insight into your creativity - I wish that the twist of this being online came through in the song somehow! Great build/drop sequences here and I love that there's a slight tropical-house hint. I definitely see the Porter/Illenium influence in this. Really strong vocals also. Great job!
