Nautical Heart by Night Tongue

Hello Carisa and Andrew! What a beautiful, haunting, transporting, and finally, intense epic track you have here. I love every second of it. I took me away to someplace ancient and not of this time.
Carisa, your vocals entrance throughout the tune - ethereal, sinuous, and lamenting, you cast a hypnotic spell.
Against the softly passionate vocals lopes the more propulsive, stark smack of the drums, and with the vocals sparkles guitar lines that flow along like a limpid stream.
There's a darker backdrop at times, in the song, made by synths/strings that creates an encroaching nocturnal atmosphere.
The forever moving forward, faster drum tempo, contrasted with the slower, wave pattern of occasional lifting up in supplication vocals is very evocative, making for a cross-dynamic that suggests the inexorable march of time and the inevitable regret of the moment (on a smaller scale) or a life (on a grander scale) that has passed.
Of course your potent lyrics feed into my just stated-ideas, but I think even without the lyrics, those feeling come to the surface.
And what an ending, when the fiery rock guitar line rises like a phoenix from the ashes, like a second voice that intensifies and swirls into distorted noise.
Completely captivating!

Cool song with a good, driving, dark vibe to it. If you're looking for press, I would highly recommend hiring a publicist to help work your upcoming EP. It's a bit unclear if your debut EP in September is the same one on Bandcamp or a different one but if it's never been released before, you should definitely look into getting a publicist to help spread the word. Make sure that you have good promo photos along with a narrative to go with the EP to help with press. I would suggest shooting a music video for your main single too for a good piece of content for blogs to post about. Your live show matters a lot too so you should focus on regional press in any markets you're touring in as well. If you're looking for radio play, perhaps start by hiring a college radio company to help work the album in the markets you'll be touring. Best of luck!

Human Things by Carisa Bianca Mellado

Immediately captivating sound that reminds me of Kate Bush, who herself has a wide stylistic range, but outputs a very worldly sound. The sitar-like drone and gentle strings (?) in the backing during the intro, combined with the soaring vocals, make digging into this one quite easy. Effervescent lift-up around 01:31 serves as a very nice hook. The track possesses a very mystical feel, which aligns wonderfully with the description you provided of the Sirian Dolphin Princess narrative. The rest of the track flows beautifully in hypnotic bliss. I'll post this in the future on Obscure Sound for sure. Also feel free to reach out to me via mike@obscuresound.com if interested in help with PR for this track; I can provide rates and success stories for my PR services upon request. Thanks for the excellent submission! -Mike
