This feels like a long-lost orchestral folk gem! Love the production and the wonderful harmonies. I remember playing Code Pie on my show on Amazing Radio a long time ago, so it’s nice to be presented with some solo material from Enzo! From a UK perspective, in terms of where else to pitch the song to, I’d suggest John Kennedy for his X-Posure show on Radio X, and Baylen Leonard over at Country Hits.
A definite echo of 'Waterfall' by the Stone Roses in the guitar here, with vocals that recall shoegaze bands of that period, but with a rhythm section that brings it all up to date. The last minute or so is a pleasantly unexpected development, too. It's interested me enough to want to check out your other stuff. Solid production that brings out detail, variation and character in the music. I like it.
I really like the melody of the musical production. I can definitely hear this in a summer film or the theme used in a commercial. The only problem I have is with clarity of the lyrics. It is a bit muffled. Even so, I get a nostalgic feeling when I hear this as well; almost as if i was sent back in time to the 60s and I love it. So regardless of my inability to hear the words clearly, I don't mind it. Though I wasn't alive then, I do enjoy the music from that era. The refrain sounds a bit cluttered; too many sounds going on at once, but the overall sound is pleasing. Thanks for a little joy.
