Title
Music Publicist, Punks & Criminals
Bio
We offer folks a little extra help with album publicity, tour publicity, online presence, and [sometimes] tour booking. Punks & Criminals was founded and is headed by Neil Campau, the founder of DoDIY.org and a long-time touring musician and artist.

Neil Campau Neil is currently on indefinite tour in a motorhome with his partner and baby, playing music as Electrician. He formerly played music as “World History.” He also played in other bands, but would rather not share their names. He is an obsessive cataloger/archiver and has been collecting information about press outlets for many years. He has been described as “easy to talk to,” “a real nice guy,” “professional, personal, and radical,” as well as “cynical and full of hatred.”

Beauty by The Shivers

Matt Hartwick

The muffled vocals goes well with the slower electric guitar work. I think if there was an extra acoustic guitar being played in as an extra layer it may help fill in the song a little bit more. The backing vocals that hit just after the two minute mark lost me on the song a little bit.

CHRISTINE SCHATZ

I couldn't help but think of Bob Dylan when hearing these vocals. They're captivating, and accompanied by finger-picked guitar, I'm even taken back to a little bit of Elliott Smith. Enough of the name dropping - this track holds its own. Loving the solo around 2:50. I would have liked to hear more of it throughout the track. But overall: keep doing what you're doing.

Sorry, only just seen this, I imagine you've gone live with it now. I like the Bonnie Prince Billy / Mountain Goats / Bright Eyes vibe. Definitely send the album to andrzej@drownedinsound.com our reviews editor when you're ready. Great video! Send this to James Skinner jskinster@hotmail.com who writes for us.
