I just want to listen to this song on repeat all day long....So good...Thanks for sharing. It's a really nice blend of 70s soft rock and folk...not really hearing bluegrass in this one...but maybe you have more?...Also, when are you coming to LA? I'd love for you to play Desert Nights if you have a set of about 6-8 songs that sound like this? Let me know...you can connect via FB...just go to my "Valida" artist page and we'll start from there.
It's a catchy chorus with good lyrical hook. The singing and vocal style is my favorite part of the track. The production is less unique and interesting, in particular the heavy keyboard chords sound on the downbeats could be easier on the ears. The outro loops / productiom starting near minute three is fantastic. Very interesting and unique. Would like that more throughout the song. Hope this feedback helps and thanks for sharing.
I hear chatter about this band pretty often. I'm not really into Rock music but this is a very solid rock track and video. Although the video is very clean I don't really think its compelling enough to cut through the cluttered music space. I'm not sure if this is something I'd really share after the first watch. Its OK though
It's a really colorful, story-telling video - beautiful work! I personally can think of several options 1. Vimeo (Staff Pick) Upload the video to Vimeo and try and get the vimeo staff to notice it - it's definitely something they would like (judging from what they've featured in the past). A staff feature will get you a lot of views for sure, thus quite a bit of new fans. 2. Screenshots The movie feels like a story, a collage of different chapters. Try and emphasize that by using screen captures from the movie on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). Maybe add a lyric to it as text, or ask "what does this remind you of" (e.g. the bit that looks a lot like a Mad Men scene). This will have people interact with you based on the video, and have them check out the video for more of it. 3. Website Go through with the idea behind the video and have a website that is inspired by it, using the same imagery and style as the video. Can be very simple, but it's nice to see a band with a clear imagery for a certain video and have that same style in everything else they do at the moment.
